Try A Tinted Formula
If your skin is, and there's no pretty word for it.. dull. Light pink primers, like Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer, can add a glow. Lilac shades (found in Revlon PhotoReady Color Correcting Primer) brighten sallow skin, and green formulas (like Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Correcting Primer in Green) neutralize redness.
You don't need to coat your face with this stuff. When you overload on primer, it pills under your foundation.A small drop (the size of a raisin) is plenty. Gently rub into the skin for even coverage.
For thicker, longer lashes layer an eyelash primer..yes, there is such a thing. Under your regular mascara. These formulas amplify sparse fringe and contain vitamin E or glycerin to condition lashes; I like LancĂ´me Cils Booster XL. Just limit your mascara to two coats, or you'll end up with a big clumpy mess.
Dab on a lip primer, like E.L.F. Lip Primer & Plumper, to prevent lipstick from feathering or settling into lines. If you don't have a lip primer on hand, one designed for your face can work just as well.
To set your makeup, follow this magic order: primer, liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer, translucent powder. Without a last dusting of powder, the water in your makeup and the silicone's in most primers repel each other. If you touch your face, both will come right off. But with a light dusting of powder this will not happen.
That's right; In addition to your eyes, lips, and lashes, primer works miracles on other areas too. The silicone's in primers help fill facial fine lines and even out makeup. Dab some on your hands, neck, and chest, and your skin will look younger for the rest of the day.
Primer, what a great thing huh?
Hope this helped, until next time Bye!
