Morphe 35T Taupe Palette - Review, Swatches & Photos!

Monday 18 January 2016

Hi Guys,
It has been quite a while since my last post, I took a little break from blogging. I'm now back and in full force with my favorite eye shadow palette ever... in existence, quite a big claim but its true!

It's the Morphe 35 Taupe Palette, a massive craze over the majority of 2015.

I just had to get my hands on it, when people talk about a product so much I feel I need to try it out my self.. you know, put my mind at ease. I'm so glad I did with this palette as it has now become a firm favorite in my palette collection and I have a lot of palettes!

This palette has the perfect blend of matte, satin and shimmer shadows. You can create such a variety of looks with it whether it be a dark brown smokey eye or a neutral shimmer day time look. Everything is there!
I mean if all my palettes disappeared and I was just left with this one I would be quite happy.

For the price tag the quality of the shadows are out of this world! you get 35 eye shadows for the price of around £20 (dependent on where you get it) You can look on Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty.. or go on the Morphe website and pay a ridiculous amount for postage from the US, I mean it's totally up to you, I will not judge, believe me I nearly did it myself. Its. Fine!

I have swatches of each row and it will be in order the way the shadows are in the palette.
I'm quite saddened these shadows don't have names (thats when you know your beauty obsessed) I think I might have to name them myself....

I most definitely recommend you all get this palette, you will not be disappointed for sure!
Let me know if you yourself have this palette or if you have been lusting over it.. I'd so love to know your favorite palette too!

Thanks for reading, Bye!

Topshop Nude Eyes

Saturday 5 September 2015

Hi all,

Today I thought I would talk about the eye product I've been reaching for massively these past few weeks and well frankly since they'd been released. I love these. It's the Nude Eyes by Topshop.

These are basically dupes for Mac Paint Pots.. lets be honest. Cream eye shadow bases that can be used alone or underneath eye shadows. I have been reaching for these two in particular, beautiful nude colours for a daytime natural look or a base for a dramatic smokey eye.

The two colours I have are called Bare and Undressed. I just love these because they are so easy to apply yet give such a pretty look. You can easily pat them onto your eyelid with your finger, apply a little liner and mascara and you are good to go, super quick morning makeup. You have a little time to work with this but then it sets and does not budge throughout the day so if you have long days ahead I think these would be a perfect product for you.

You can get these in any Larger Topshop Store, online or on FeelUnique.com
£8 each.

Currently Loving Skin Care and Makeup

Wednesday 5 August 2015

Hi everyone, today i felt like expressing my love for some products in my life right now. They. Are. Great.

First up I'm going to talk about two eye favorites that I keep grabbing from my makeup collection, I have so many that this is a rare occurrence. Whilst I was in Rome in June I did some shopping, obviously! Shopping included just popping into a few makeup shops, you know... not to buy anything, just browse! Of course browsing just isnt the case when it comes to makeup, I had to get something! I stumbled accross this Italian makeup brand called Wjcon, never had heard of it but the shop itself looked really nice so I thought i'd go in and have a look, they had a wide range of lipsticks, eyeshadows, nails... anything you could imagine I just couldnt walk away and not get anything. I got this cream eyeshadow as the colour pay off really impressed me and so did the price.

I didn't really think much of it I mean I have a lot of golden shadows so I thought this would be another average one added to the collection I already have but NO, I was mistaken, Oh boy I was! This shadow is packed full of golden beautiful-ness that when you apply it makes your eyes pop! You have a short few minutes to work with this after that it sets into place and it will not budge. I tested it out when I was out the whole day and it has serious staying power.

It cost me €6.90
You can find this online on the Wjcon Website

Next up is the Nars Dual Intensity Shadow in Himilaya which I have previously talked about on my blog but since I've been using it all the time I just felt it needed another mention. It's the perfect golden shadow that you can use wet or dry, the Wycon cream shadow and this work well together, with this packed on top it intensify s the colour further if you want that added wow factor.

This, as it is Nars is more expensive.. £21. I still can't believe I paid that for a single shadow, it's a lot of money but if you like luxury products and don't mind the price tag then I would definitely go for it, there's a wide range of colours that you can be sure to find one for you.

I love trying out different brands of skincare, especially the ones that you instantly see differences when using. I have been using this Teoxane Perfect Skin Refiner as a night cream after my Serum. I received this travel size in my Glossybox and have been loving it so much. It makes my skin feel really smooth, I also love the way it sinks in to the skin really quickly. It seems to moisturize my skin but not overwhelm it, since my skin is oily I don't like thick night creams as they can be too much for my skin. I feel this makes my skin glow, which I can rarely find in products because my skin is so oily.

This is also quite a pricey product, the full size sets you back £69 for a 50ml bottle.
I don't know if I would purchase this full size, I think it's still early days to know, once I finish this sample I will see how my skin is and make the decision.
You can find this online

Lastly is the ever so popular EOS lipbalms. I have quite the collection now.. I've jumped on the bandwagon thats for sure. I recently got this white and pink stripey one which is Coconut Milk I believe. It smells so amazing, one of the best yet. I like the EOS lip balms as they are easy to pop into your bag and look super cute when you apply them (I'm such a sucker for packaging) The lip balms are also great, very buttery and nourishing!

£7 in stores or online, you can find them at Urban Outfitters or Topshop.

Dream Product By Lush

Tuesday 4 August 2015

I love Lush, its one of my favorite brands for skin and body care.

This is a dream product I had to tell you about simply because it's done wonders for my skin in such a little amount of time. I got this around the start of July and have been using it since. It's the Angels On Bare Skin Cleanser. I got this on a whim, i hadn't heard anything about this it just appealed to me in store and well the sales advisor lured me into buying it.

The idea of this is to take a small amount into your palm, add a small amount of water this will turn it into a paste that you can then apply it on your face to cleanse it thoroughly, it feels exfoliating on the skin which I like, it feels like its removing gunk from the skin. You may think when I say that its exfoliating it's harsh on the skin but it's the complete opposite, it's such a gentle cleanser that if you have sensitive skin you can be sure it won't irritate it what so ever. The Lavander Oil and Rose thats infused in this beauty calms the skin and the almonds will leave you with more toned and brightened skin.

I have oily skin and this has balanced the oils, I don't get near enough as oily through the day as I did before I used this. I don't know whats in this that has made my skin so different but it really has worked wonders for me. I would definitley recommend getting this if you suffer from oiliness and you like the clean but not stripped skin feeling. I remember after the first use my skin felt instantly smoother and softer, I knew from then that I'd love it. Love, love, love!

£6.50 from any Lush store or online.
