Hair Mistakes We All Make But Don't Quite Realise It

Now we all envy those girls with the perfect shiny long hair don't we?
How are gorgeously long locks achieved I hear you asking....

Today, I'm going to be sharing some tips on how to prevent your hair becoming lifeless and getting you that gorgeous healthy hair you've always longed for.
Simply by stopping those nasty habits most of us do and may not always realize it.

Towel Drying your hair: We have all done this... Towel drying!!! When your hair is wet, it's easily prone to breakage. Your hair is weak when wet so any rough handling can cause your hair to break. Also, if your hair tends to get very tangled and you need to brush it, opt for a wide toothed comb instead of a brush, yes it may take longer than using the mighty old paddle brush but trust me, your hair will thank you.

Heated Appliances without the protection: Now of course, using heated appliances such as a flat iron on your hair basically .. fries it. Instead of suffering the consequences, use a heat protector before styling or blow-drying hair. Spritzing on a little will help your strands fight the extreme heat. Additionally, never turn your tools up to the hottest setting. Medium heat will get the job done just as well with a lot less damage.

Tying your hair in that tight pony: This is probably the one most of us do. We all love getting home and just putting our hair up to get it out of the way, but what we do wrong is tying it too tight. Ponytails should be worn loosely in order to keep your hair looking smooth. Tight ponies cause temporary damage, like broken strands, which can become a permanent problem if done for a long period of time. If a pony is your go to, try switching it up as much as you can or try changing your hair tie to a more gentle one.
