I always look forward to seeing how celebrities dress for events also love seeing the hair and makeup. It excites me, this years Met Ball didn't disappoint for sure. Here are some of the key beauty trends..



It's all about the hair accessories

From Beyonce adding mystery to her look with the pearl veil to Kate Upton going for the "more is more" approach with her floral headpiece it's clear that the celebs are majorly digging the hair accessories

White Eyeliner

White liner was huge in the 90s and it seems to be making a comeback with many celebs such as Kim K and Kendall Jenner rocking the liner. I mean.. What's not to love about white liner, it brightens your eyes and makes them appear larger.

Bold Lips

Whether it be dark, bright. Bold lips seem to be everywhere and have been for a while now, from the Met Gala it seems like this trend is staying put! We've even seen unlikely colors pop up like Joan Smalls wearing a bright purple on her lips.

My favorite overall look was probably Rihanna or Kim K, they both looked stunning!
