September Favourites

Thursday 2 October 2014

A little late on the favorites post this month because i've been so busy with work and such. But the time has arrived I can sit down and do my fave thing, blogging!

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer
This is the first of my two Mac products in this post. I have a feeling I always seem to include mac in favorites posts. But it's just such a great brand, I guess I can't help it! This is like a cult beauty product, the pro longwear concealer is really popular amongst the blogging community and I was quite late to the bandwagon, as per usual. I got this a few weeks back and have been loving it completely, I totally understand why everyone loves it. You literally need the tiniest pump and it's enough for blemishes and underneath your eyes. It blends super easy with fingers or a fluffy brush. Looks super natural and doesn't crease under my eyes. Love, love, love!

Crown Brush Blending Fluffy Brush
Now these I got back when I went to IMATS in London. I got these on a whim, i'd never heard of these particular ones by crown brush but they caught my eye since they look like Macs 217 brush. I picked up 5 of them, you can never have enough blending brushes especially being a makeup artist I definitely get my use out of them. I love the way this brush blends out eye shadow so seamlessly and without much effort. Also I use this to blend out my mac concealer it's ideal for that, too! I honestly can't recall the number of these as it doesn't say on the brush and I got it at imat's not online, I am sure you'd be able to find them on the crown brush website though, there can't be that many that are the same!

Mac Honey Lust Eyeshadow
Next up is my new fave mac shadow! It's so beautiful. I got this when I got my mac pro palette but I never really used it.. I'm not quite sure why. I recently started applying it because it's a really quick shadow that looks amazing patted onto the lid on it's own, you don't need to spend a really long time to make it look nice by pairing it with another shadow. I've been using this early in the morning when I need to rush out the door for work and I've been receiving many compliments on the shade! It's a sure keeper when other people also comment on how it looks!

Lancome Hypnose Star Waterproof Mascara
Straight to the point, I adore this mascara. It's utterly amazing! Gives full, long lashes without that clumpy "spidery" lash look. It's also super jet black and the waterproof formula really holds the curl well. An all round amazing mascara, my lashes look huge yet I have tiny short natural lashes. Definitely give this a go !

NARs Orgasm Blush
I have talked about this blush before so I'm not going to dwell on this for too long. But all I will say is I have been reaching for this all month, it gives a lovely subtle golden glow because of the golden shimmer throughout the pink blush. Lovely packaging, look's really chic, just like all Nars products.

Put your links below if you have done a favorites blog post, I would love to give them a read.

  1. That MAC shadow is so pretty looks like a perfect day time shade! I really want to get my hands on the MAC Prolong Wear concealer, I tried it on in the shop and it was so lightweight. I just wasn't a fan of the pump x
